exceptional athlete who is tremendously improved in the outfield from early in ’09….worked his way into the outfield rotation last year as his skills increased rapidly due to his super work ethic….once in the lineup he produced clutch hits…drove in the game winning run in a key region contest at Milton…saved his biggest fireworks for game 3 at Etowah in the first round of the playoffs where he blasted two home runs to propel the Trojans to round 2…..plus speed makes him dangerous on the bases and allows him to cover a lot of ground in centerfield…has turned himself into a definite college prospect….member of the 2008 region championship team….also, was a star receiver on the 2009 region championship Lassiter football team…..2009 stats-15 hits, 2 doubles, 3 HRs, 12 RBIs, 12 runs, 5 SB, .319 BA, .553 slug% ….JV MVP in 2008 and Varsity Trojan Award Winner in 2009….

returner to the program who makes the move back to his natural first base position after learning to play the outfield as a freshman…imposing player with a big, lean frame that is capable of producing big numbers at the dish….hit a couple homers on the JV as a freshman before getting the late season call-up to the varsity, where he saw at-bats for the 09 state playoff Trojans….got his first career varsity hit at Centennial…raw skills that when tuned up will give way to potentially huge numbers both at the plate and on the mound…preseason mechanical adjustments hopefully lead to more velocity and strike throwing as he will be a strong presence on the mound this year….should be able to help younger players understand the Lassiter Baseball tradition of excellence….also played the post on the Lassiter JV basketball team….
